Electronic circuit boards are usually produced on the basis of data in the so-called GERBER format (layout data) and / or EXCELLON format (drilling data).
The GerberConvert module reads in the existing data and visualizes it as a graphic and a table of values.
Based on the imported data and the configuration settings made, GerberConvert automatically generates an executable CALYPSO test plan for multi-sensor CMMs.

The associated data formats / files are described using so-called project data. Complete projects or individual files can be loaded into GerberConvert. The loaded data are displayed both graphically and in a list. Individual elements can be selected either in the list or in the graphic with the mouse and thus visualized and localized on the circuit board.

The required default settings are defined using the integrated configurator:

  • Diameter / accuracy deviation depending on the lighting, aperture and lens setting

  • Definition of the search direction for probing depending on the specified lighting setting (incident light / transmitted light) for the specified diameter areas

  • Number of desired contour points (only the required corner points are transferred as standard for contours)

Your advantages

  • GerberConvert generates a complete CALYPSO® test plan based on the specifications.

  • Individual adjustments in the test plan created are possible

  • high time savings

  • optimal use of the CALYPSO® measuring software

  • Stored measurement and evaluation strategies minimize the individual operator influence on the measurement results
