YOUR MACHINE TOOL BECOMES A MEASURING MACHINE

Make a CMM

Home Managed Service Make a CMM

Make your machine tool also an ISO-compliant measuring machine. Make one out of two machines and optimize your manufacturing process

OUR SOLUTION

With our "Make a CMM" product, we turn your CNC machine into a certified measuring machine. At the end of our calibration process, your machine tool receives an ISO 10360 certification.

This ingenious combination helps:

  • To significantly optimize your production process,

  • To save time

  • Save money and

  • To minimize scrap.

The whole thing is done through a clever combination of our innovative software solution " S4analyze & correct" , a matching calibration process, suitable measuring equipment and precisely calculated readjustment of your machine.

YOUR CHALLENGE

In every production process there is a need to manufacture parts within a defined tolerance. For this purpose, the part manufactured on a CNC machine tool must be removed and checked on a measuring machine. Only after the test on the measuring machine can a test report be created and a statement made as to whether the part can be further processed or used. It can of course also happen that the part is scrap.

In some cases, further processing on the original CNC machine is required in the manufacturing process. In this case, after the measurement, the part must be removed from the measuring machine, placed in the machine tool and processed further.

This process can be repeated several times. Set-up times are always necessary for installing and removing the part in the CNC tool machine and measuring machine. That costs time and money. To make matters worse, it can happen that manufactured parts are found to be scrap in the course of the measurement because the measurement was made "too late".

The process of separate measurement in the manufacturing process

  • takes a lot of time and money

  • requires resources (employees, machines, conveyor technology, ...)

  • can also lead to rejects.

How awesome would it be if this procedure could be drastically simplified? How awesome would it be if your CNC machine tool were also a measuring machine?

This is exactly what our "Make a CMM" product does.

Our product "Make a CMM"

?

Did you know,

that you have the opportunity to make regular checks to ensure that your CNC machine tool continues to maintain the certified accuracy?

OUR SOLUTION

With our product "M check" (intermediate test of measuring machine), a simple test of your CNC machine tool upgraded to a measuring machine is carried out.

We recommend performing this test every three months.

As a result, the accuracy of your measuring machine can be verified and confirmed and you can continue to successfully use all the advantages that your machine tool upgraded to a measuring machine has promised you in the process.

YOUR CHALLENGE

After the initial calibration of your CNC machine tool into a measuring machine, you have received a corresponding seal and ISO certification.

Your upgraded CNC machine tool should of course deliver good measurement results in the long term and optimize your process. For this purpose, regular intermediate tests are to be carried out to ensure the certified accuracy.

?

Did you know,

that you have the opportunity to repeat the ISO 10360-compliant acceptance at any time and thereby renew the ISO seal?

OUR SOLUTION

With our product "M accept" (acceptance test of measuring machine), a complete test of your CNC machine tool, which has been upgraded to a measuring machine, is carried out. We recommend that this test be carried out every two years.

As a result, the accuracy of your measuring machine can be verified and confirmed and you can continue to successfully use all the advantages that your machine tool upgraded to a measuring machine has promised you in the process.

You will also receive the extension of the ISO certificate.

YOUR CHALLENGE

After the initial calibration of your CNC machine tool into a measuring machine, you have received a corresponding seal and ISO certification.

Your upgraded CNC machine tool should of course deliver good long-term measurement results, optimize your process and confirm the ISO seal.

Regular processes are required for this in order to obtain the seal.

?

Did you know,

that if the result of the acceptance test (M accept) or the intermediate test (M check) is negative, we can bring the machine back to the previous level?

OUR SOLUTION

We do this with our product "M correct". As a result, you can regain the ISO certificate.

YOUR CHALLENGE

If the intermediate test or the acceptance test returned results out of tolerance, the machine tool must be readjusted so that it can work again within the certified tolerance.
