Test characteristic-related uncertainty calculation
We calculate the test characteristic-related uncertainties of your test plan, taking into account your measurement environment, based on the virtual CMM (VCMM).
The measurement uncertainty is calculated for tactile measurements of the standard geometry elements (single points, straight lines, planes, circles, spheres, cylinders, cones) and their connections.
The calculation does not apply to self-centering probing, evaluations of gear parameters and free-form surfaces.
Output
You will receive the calculated measurement uncertainties for all test characteristics of your test plan in a generic format.
The measurement uncertainties can also be specified in an AfM-specific measurement report based on the measured values.
Technical requirements
System requirements of the coordinate measuring machine
Portal or bridge type with workpiece temperature sensors integrated in the system.
Currently supported software solutions
Currently, inspection plans from ZEISS Calypso and Hexagon Quindos can be simulated.
Permissible tactile measuring head systems
VAST, VAST Gold, VAST XT, VAST XT Gold, VAST XXT. Rotary tables are also supported.
Optical sensors are not supported.
